Graduated from Medical University of SC with a RN certificate, practiced as a Registered Nurse for 15 yrs, Graduated from UNC with a certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified as a PHysicians Assistant by sitting for the National Exam, practiced as a FNP for 15 years. Became disabled with back disease and took a while to become productive again. Finished Randolph Community College with a degree in 'Applied Science as an Interior Designer" and have had my own Design Business since. My interest in creative writing came as a student in high school and later as a journal writer. My journal writing will serve to help me share a personal story of how I learned to live with chronic pain. This will incorporate both technical aspects of particularly back pain and what principles can be utilized to find relief and then how to accept pain not as an enemy but just another "bump in the road" to living in an imperfect world. I'd like to share my research and reach out to those who want to find meaning in coping with "chronic pain".
